The Second Exhibition and Conference of Technology Management and Increasing Knowledge-based Production in the Value Chain of the Petroleum Industry
To materialize the motto of the year, initiated by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution – the year of knowledge-based job-creating production – authorities is planning to hold a conference and exhibition later this year on technology management of knowledge-based products and services in the oil industry. The Petroleum Ministry’s R&D department and its affiliated companies among other entities are expected to attend the event set to be held between December 13 and 15 at Mahmoudabad educational and sports complex in the northern province of Mahmoudabad.
The event, coinciding the national week of research, aims to push startups toward local needs, make oil industry players familiar with latest technology used in the industry, discuss challenges and opportunities facing startups involved in the oil, gas and petrochemical sector, examine methods to finance startups, help increase productivity and competitiveness, and take steps to help startups grow fast.
Among other programs at the first national conference and exhibition on technology management of knowledge-based products and services in the oil industry will be a set of workshops, seminars, and specialized panels aimed at making connections between employers and contractors, including the producers.
Innovation is the key to differentiation and superiority in the competitive market, and one of the fastest, most effective, and least expensive inputs for innovation is the use of external organizational capacities, including creative people, specialists, inventors, students and faculty members, knowledge-based companies, start-ups, and other significant manufacturing companies.
